I got a new cupboard. :)

Look how happy.
My kitchen has VERY little storage space. I had all my appliances above my cupboards. see. And in my "pantry", not shown.
Justin put this cabinet up for me above my fridge--it's huge and awesome.
See look, it holds everything. WONDERFUL!
Now I only have food in the "pantry"
And now there is no more clutter atop my cabinet!! Wahoo!
Sigh of relief.

Jax singing "Mighty Machines" theme song.

You won't regret watching this.
It's probably the cutest thing you've ever seen and/or the funniest thing you've ever seen.
Mighty Machines is Jaxton's favorite show. There are 3 seasons on NetFlix with about 15 shows per season. He has watched every episode in every season at least 12 times.
This is the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GE1lo_tQACw), you should listen to it before you hear his version...his version is 12 times better. :)

I LOVE IT!!!!!
You will too, watch it. I promise. :)

The Last Month.

Some cool things that happened within the last month:
Jax experienced Seven Peaks. It was like the heavens opened, he was just beyond elated the whole time. I'm looking forward to some fun times with him there this summer.
Rod on the other hand, couldn't have been more suspicious of the whole thing. He was like a cling-on. A whinny cling-on. :) So that will be a fun addition to our summer fun. :)
Best news of the summer, (wait for it...)
JAX IS POTTY TRAINED.
Has been for about 3 weeks. It's basically the coolest. I did it AGAIN (potty training) on a whim because we had just ran out of yet another giant Costco box of diapers. So I just told him we were out of diapers; that he had no choice anymore. And for some magically strange reason, it actually worked!! I was his "time" I guess. I'm very proud of him. And I'm glad I gave it a 4th "go" even though I was skeptical.
I would also like to mention that he has really matured since he turned 3. He is really wonderful a lot of the time. Not that he wasn't, but he is easier to communicate with and he goes in the potty. What more could you want out of a 3 year old?? :)
And Jax is a model. :)
And this is Rod's new trick. He is so cute.
But can I just say, he has a really whinny personality. He doesn't really like anyone except me, my mom, and Justin, and Chanel, Grama Debbie, and Great Aunt Lisa (mai mai look alike). If you remove all of the above than he might go to someone else...but only while crying. Justin and I just really have a hard time with him sometimes. He can be such a goober. It's a good thing he is a cute goober. He is more loving and cuddly at that age than Jax ever was. I think he wanted to be an only child. And when I say "loving and cuddly" I mean, the "loving and cuddly" don't normally come without a lot of pre-requisite crying/whining.
Alas, I love the child.

Remember when my family got family pictures??
Oh those cuties!!! :)

My tricky dad sets up the camera and the shot, then he sets the timer, then he dashes to get in place before the shot goes off. The rest of us just try to all look at the red flashing dot. Rod didn't get the memo. Dang.

DIRTY dash

Justin did the "Dirty Dash"
What in the creepy crazy picture!!
With these awesome people:
Before
After (they were SO dirty, this is after they have all showered...)
It was HOT and DIRTY. But they seemed to all really like it...I don't understand. But I love them. And I'm proud.
Justin did the 5k in like 27 minutes--and you wouldn't believe the obstacles they had to go through. He was booking it. It was funny because EVERYONE else did the 10k. He didn't know...:)
I have decided that I will never do this race; I don't think I'll even spectate again. It was pretty gross. If I had a little bubble to float around in and watch from above and have air conditioning and no screaming children, then I would. I don't see that happening. :)
My family is so so awesome. I wish I liked to swim, run, and crawl through mud and get it in all my orifices(?) and drive home in it. Those cuties. Love you guys.
This is all my immediate family that did the dash--'cept my mom, potty break for her. :)
Thanks for letting me steal your pictures without asking Tash. :)

Sometimes.

Now that the weather is really h-o-t the boy's and I like to go on walks.(Actually, I HATE being hot and sweaty--and if you know me, you can't have one without the other; the things we do for our children...;) A "walk" means Jax rides his new Lightning McQueen bike and Rod rides his little awesome push bike (shown below) and I walk--pushing Rod. They LOVE it. So much. Today we went to the river. This is one of Jaxton's favorite places to go. He loves throwing rocks in water; like, probably more than any other activity.
And he is SO beautiful to me.
This is his follow through after throwing a rock.
Rod also like rocks.
see, he's showing you...
But he mostly would rather eat them than do anything else.
Heaven forbid he eat actual food.
We still call him Frank the Tank, but only because he walks like a sumo wrestler and is as wide as a bus. For the record, he stopped eating after baby-food lost it's savor...at about 10 months.  I feel as though I am destined to always be praying my kids will eat. AND eat even remotely healthy. Jax hasn't eaten a vegetable in like 4 or 5 months. And even then it was like 5 green beans. Help my children eat. They obviously are thriving off the little they do ingest. I don't know how they keep up those large figures.
As my mom says, "It doesn't bode well for their future selves." :)
(insinuating that their metabolism is very slow and efficient to be able to sustain their bodies at such a  weight, "it doesn't bode well" for when they get older and they actually want to eat food and not be 85th percentile for weight...)

A Day Out with Thomas

This, my friends, is the real live Thomas the Train...;)He's a pretty big deal.

Jax LOVED it. Thomas stuff EVERYWHERE. Between you and me, it was honestly quite ghetto--at $16 for anyone over 2yrs old, you'd think they would be able to splerg a little...Jax couldn't have cared less. He thought it was the BOMB. :)
They have people there making little balloon things for the kids. Jax got a sword first. Then after he and Rod popped it, he got a snake. .
This is the boys "loving" each other before we took off on the 15 minute train ride at 5 mph

It was a VERY old train, so the windows opened. SO COOL. Rod was like a dog, loving his face out the window. He just couldn't get out far enough. :)

The train ride was very fun. Afterward they had some little activity's for the kids.
Below: Desiel 10 Tatoo
Yup, that tooth is WAY gone. We'll see it again when he's 7yrs old...hopefully he can keep most of the others in his mouth until then...
 Mini Golf.
Check out Jaxton's awsome form. The kid was a pro! :)
Dang, missed!

At the Mini Golf, a families ball got knocked behind the little white fence. I'm tall, I thought I could just reach over the top of the fence and grab it. Um, the fence isn't secured, to anything. It weighs zero lbs. I weigh WAY more than that. So after I mistakenly rested a little of my body weight on it (leaning over to grab the ball) I toppled head first over that white picket fence--TOTALLY KNOCKING IT OVER. All the way over. My behind was in the air sprawled on the fence. A man had to help me up, Because it really WAS hard to get up, I was face down on top of a fence. help. It was so bad. The poor women was trying SO hard not to laugh; like half coughing/throat clearing half hysterics. Silly me.

They let the kids go crazy in this tent with all these used falling apart Thomas toys. They LOVED it.

These bubbles they had just laying around might have been his favorite part--we did that for about 25 minutes, and we kind of had to drag him away. He loved it.
Justin was a good sport and got off work to go with us. loves.

Justin got Jax a Thomas the Train whistle. It's really pretty cool. Jax seems to really like it as well. He had a hard time figuring out how to blow it at first. He would just make a train sound with his lips pressed against the whistle. But once he figured it out, he couldn't stop. Look how hard he's trying.
Ahhhh, we were there too.
LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!
AND THIS ONE!!!
Loved doing something a little special and new with my boys!!

Rod and Hazel's Birthday Party!

Because Rod and Haz are only 5 days apart we decided to combine their cute little birthday's into one big party. It was a good decision. It was really fun, and those kids are just SO cute and newly 1! (Well, technically Rod isn't 1 until the 25th...but still..)

The princess in all her glory. We tried to get Rod to pose, he wouldn't. :)
Family and Sandwiches!
For the life of me, I couldn't get everyone in the shot!! :(

Clarissa is always so nice to try and play with a whinny Rod. :)
Then there was cake, and a strawberry shortcake roll, and HOMADE ice cream and popsicles!
Rod liked the Ice cream. This kid is HARD to please.
And the birthday cuties are SO cute!!!

Hazel was really lovin' on Carter!

Aunt Lisa is SOO nice to Rod, and to Jax! Rod LOVES her. Jax... I think I would use a different adjective. ;)

Fun on the Playground!!

He did/does this face A LOT.

Ethan and Jax had SO much fun playing together...It was really cute. Warms a mothers heart. :)
Love the smiles!
And then there was presents!! Those other kids were WAY more excited than Rod. :)

FUN!!!
