My boys are just the best.
This was a Bridal Vail Falls, we went there a couple times, always a hit with the kids.:) Jax does this thing where he says, "take a picture of me mom!" and then he does a little pose--unprompted. It's really darling.
The boys LOVE to take pictures with my phone, I think Rod took this one of me--my hair is actually long enough to curl, so I thought would leave the picture for posterity...:)
And this is just happy boys day at Natasha's. They love to dress up at her house.
Jax is pretending to be Justin in the picture-he said "hey Mom, I'm Justin" in this "cool" voice.:)
Jax begged me to take him to the skate park with his 95lb bike and seat with NO cushion. I took him and he had an absolute blast. He was so happy and felt SUPER cool. He fell twice, and didn't even whimper--he was feeling too cool to cry.:) He loved it. I'm sure his crotch was aching by the end from all that jarring but he didn't complain at all. Just wanted to keep going. He was really fun to see him so happy.
Punching Isaac...always a favorite past-time of my boys...:)
Grama Gause was so nice and took me and the boys to the Ogden temple open house. That meant a 2 hour Trax ride each way--me and Debbie didn't realize it was going to be that long! And it was just that, LONG. The boys LOVED going on that train though! The ride there was a novelty--the 2 hours BACK with a 5 and 3 yr old in a crowded train going to the bathroom every 15 minutes (that never got old for my kids--but I was ready to catheterize them) and them bouncing off the walls because the novelty had worn off and they were tired of sitting and using indoor voices was what turned into torture...but the boys really seemed to like the whole thing.:)
The pictures are from the ride THERE--see how excited they are!
Another one of Jax's "take a picture of me mom!" poses. |
Our garden this year has been the biggest and healthiest garden we have ever had to date. The boys love to help pick and plant and water and help me cook them but they do NOT like to eat anything from the garden. Rod and Jax will sometimes eat cucumbers. But it's torture trying to get them to eat anything else.
And this is just gross, but I thought it was funny because Jax wanted a picture of his red tongue; Rod didn't understand it but definitely wanted to get in on the action of having me take a picture of his mouth--that is his ice cream. Yum.
Jax filled up his "Jar" with fluff balls (an incentive thing we had going for the summer) so we took him to classic skating. He had a really good time with Rod and Justin. He was going sooo fast on his scooter and now he can do cool little hops on his scooter. He is such a big boy!
