This was THE MOST jam-packed 4th of July ever!! We did SOOO many fun things, all in one day!
The parade was first, with all my kids favorite people, their cousins and grandparents! My kids loved it.
Okay, honestly, Rod LOVED the parade, all of it. He would stand and clap and point and just thought the entire thing was great. He was so fun for me to watch.
Then my family all came over to our house and we ate delicious food (bbq chicken and steak on salad--thank you Justin for your grill skills!) and then played with the water outside with cousins. We only had Arianne and Natasha's families over because that's all that was in Provo at the time. It was super fun!!
And do this trick if you haven't before, the kids loved the pool on the tramp idea! Thanks Natasha for bringing your pool!!
There was a pretty severe water-fight between the kids and Carter, with Arianne getting involved at times. Like I said, it was so much fun. The kids had a blast trying to trick Carter and everyone ended up pretty soaked. We miss the Mix's!! :(
THEN we went to the Vivint Party, which has yummy food for the adults and blow up toys for the kids. They loved that too!! They each got a sword balloon they loved.
THEN we got free tickets to Stadium of Fire from Justin's boss and decided to go, all spur of the moment. It was pretty darn cool. And SO long, with a TON TON TON of traffic at the end. So a LATE night. But it was a very fun thing to be able to do. Obviously, look at the picture! My kids kill me!! I love them!!
All the kids had to eat while at the stadium was candy. So you can imagine, it got a little crazy.
Jax especially, he loves music, and while Carrie Underwood was singing (and she sang for QUITE some time) He would sing and dance along or scream along or shake dance uncontrollably in sugar happiness.
I think this is a video of it...enjoy, I know i did!!
Then came the firework show, which was honestly, incredible. These are the pictures that we took during the fireworks, it was amazing, and long!
What an experience! Overall, I probably wouldn't take little kids if we ever went again--it was just so long and exhausting for them. But they pretty much loved it anyway.
What a GREAT day. With GREAT people. Just too much fun.
